Niviuk Hook 7: calm, confident progression
The Niviuk Hook 7 is an EN A+ three-liner built for the stage straight after your training course. It suits pilots who want to fly more often, in a wider range of conditions, on a wing that stays settled and forgiving while their skills grow. If you want an EN A paraglider that makes each flight feel manageable, this is a strong choice.
Handling and control
Niviuk have kept the Hook's easy-going character. Feedback through the brakes is smooth and predictable across the speed range, so you can concentrate on technique rather than on managing the wing. The new integrated winglets allow a more curved arc, which sharpens handling and cuts down residual roll.
Inflation builds progressively on different kinds of launch, and the long brake travel gives you plenty of room to work with on final approach, which helps when you are still refining your landings.
Stability in moving air
The Hook 7 does a better job of soaking up small movements in the air, so flights feel calmer. Niviuk's INS (Intake Stabiliser) keeps internal pressure more constant and reduces fabric vibration at the leading edge, while a redesigned internal structure and line plan give a cleaner profile with fewer wrinkles and more even tension.
Build and durability
The leading edge uses HYPERAIR-HD41 cloth and the rest of the canopy HYPERAIR-HD36. Mini-ribs are now built into the seams using DRS, removing exposed seams that would otherwise rub on the ground. Nitinol rods in the profile help the wing hold its shape even after plenty of compact packing.
