The Independence Smart L is designed for pilots who prioritize a proven, stable design without the premium price tag of ultra-lightweight systems. As a PDA (Pull-Down-Apex) annular parachute, the Smart L uses a center line to enlarge its projected surface area upon deployment, effectively reducing both the sink rate and the opening time.
