Gin Fuse 4: The Perfect Professional Tandem Tool

The Gin Fuse 4 is engineered for professional tandem pilots who require a reliable, high-performance workhorse that doesn't compromise on flying pleasure. This latest iteration brings meaningful refinements to the riser system and canopy, offering a 3km/h higher top speed and even easier launch characteristics. Whether you are operating in high-wind coastal environments or technical alpine take-offs, the Fuse 4 provides the efficiency and durability needed for back-to-back commercial flights.

Exclusive Myungjin Fabric Technology

In partnership with Korean fabric manufacturer Myungjin, Gin has utilized a revolutionary MJ29 MF (29g) fabric on the lower surface. Combined with refined MJ40 and MJ32 fabrics on the upper surface, the Fuse 4 achieves an extraordinary weight-to-durability ratio. This reduced canopy mass translates directly into easier inflation—especially in light tailwinds—and more agile handling in the air.

Increased Speed & Penetration

One of the standout upgrades is the 3km/h increase in top speed. This extra penetration is a game-changer for valley winds or maintaining a safety margin in stronger coastal breezes. The wing also features excellent energy retention, allowing for smooth, powerful flares that ensure comfortable, soft landings for your passengers every time.

Upgraded Professional Riser System

The Fuse 4 features an entirely redesigned trim riser system. The new trim webbing is 20% stronger for extended service life and utilizes a high-performance Finsterwalder Jamming Buckle for reliable load retention. Most importantly for professionals, the trimmer webbing is now fully and easily replaceable, significantly reducing maintenance downtime and long-term costs.

Innovative Big Ears System

Managing descent rates is effortless with Gin's unique big ears system. The split A-riser and large A3 area make pulling and releasing big ears fast and intuitive. Crucially, the pilot retains the ability to use the brakes for steering while the ears are engaged, providing superior control during technical top landings or restricted landing zones.

Enhanced Leading Edge Rigidity

New, stiffer plastic rods in the leading edge help maintain a clean aerodynamic profile even after hundreds of hours of use. This improved formulation ensures the wing stays "crisp," facilitating easier launches and providing a more solid, "monolithic" feeling in turbulent conditions.
