Gin Evora: The Intuitive Path to Progression

The Gin Evora is the definitive "easy intermediate" wing, specifically designed for talented beginners fresh out of school and established leisure pilots who prioritize comfort and passive safety. Positioned perfectly between the entry-level Bolero and the high-performance Explorer series, the Evora offers a gentle, reassuring character that remains steady even when the conditions get rowdy. With its efficient glide and natural climbing ability, it is the ideal partner for your first 200+ hours of intermediate flight.

"Born to Climb" Performance

Climbing is where the Evora truly excels. Thanks to a newly optimized planform and a 5.3 flat aspect ratio, the wing produces exceptionally flat, efficient turns. This design makes following moving thermal cores second nature, as the wing resists being pushed out of lift and naturally guides you toward the strongest part of the climb. Whether you are soaring a coastal ridge or working weak morning thermals, the Evora keeps you at the top of the stack.

Forgiving Handling & Pitch Stability

Safety and enjoyment are balanced through a highly progressive brake response. The Evora is remarkably forgiving of over-enthusiastic pilot inputs, yet remains responsive enough for precise bank adjustments. Its inherent pitch stability is a standout feature, providing a rock-solid feel when entering strong thermals or gliding at speed, which significantly reduces pilot fatigue during long cross-country (XC) missions.

Modern Technical Features

The Evora is built with Myungjin semi-light fabrics, selected for their high porosity resistance and long-term durability. The trailing edge features internally stitched mini-ribs, ensuring a clean aerodynamic profile and preventing snagging on rough take-offs. Additionally, the Evora is Smart Riser ready; pilots looking to advance their skills can retrofit an optional riser system to practice modern C-riser steering techniques.
