Gin Boomerang 12: When Nature Meets Engineering

The Gin Boomerang 12 is the ultimate competition weapon, designed for world-class pilots who demand no-compromise performance. This CCC-certified 2-liner is the result of years of wind-tunnel research and collaboration at the GIN LAB, bringing a revolutionary physical change to paraglider design. Already a proven winner on the World Cup circuit, the Boomerang 12 offers a leap forward in climb rate, glide efficiency, and high-speed stability.

Patented Wave Leading Edge Technology

The Boomerang 12 is the first paraglider to feature the Wave Leading Edge. Inspired by the tubercles on the pectoral fins of humpback whales, this sinusoidal profile creates streamwise vortices that delay airflow separation. In the air, this translates to increased lift at all angles of attack and a significantly more progressive stall behavior. This technology allows competition pilots to core tighter in strong thermals and stay in the lift longer with a reduced risk of tip stalling.

Elite 2-Line Efficiency

As a pure 2-liner with a 7.55 aspect ratio, the Boomerang 12 is built for speed. The reduction in line drag, combined with the 3rd generation Equalized Pressure Technology (EPT), ensures the wing maintains its aerodynamic shape even at full bar. The B-riser control system is highly optimized, providing the pilot with effortless, direct pitch management and real-time feedback when racing through turbulent air.

Precision 105-Cell Construction

With a massive 105-cell architecture, the Boomerang 12 has one of the cleanest and most rigid surfaces in the industry. This high cell count minimizes "ballooning" and drag, resulting in a cohesive wing that feels monolithic during transitions. Despite its extreme performance, the inclusion of Wave Leading Edge technology allowed Gin to make the wing more compact and easier to fly than its predecessor, the Boomerang 11.

World Cup Proven Stability

Stability at high speed is the deciding factor in modern competitions. The Boomerang 12 is engineered to be exceptionally rock-solid when accelerated. The wing resists pitch oscillations and remains pressurized in "rowdy" air, allowing the pilot to focus on navigation and tactics rather than just wing management. In CCC testing, the Boomerang 12 demonstrated remarkable recovery characteristics, setting a new benchmark for safety in the elite class.
