Gin Bonanza 3: A New Era of 2-Line Performance

The Gin Bonanza 3 is a high-performance "Sports Class" EN-C wing that brings the cutting-edge technology of competition gliders to the cross-country enthusiast. As a pure 2-liner, it offers a level of efficiency and speed-bar control previously reserved for the world's elite pilots. Whether you are racing in a serial-class competition or pushing your personal best on a 200km XC loop, the Bonanza 3 provides the tools to fly faster, further, and with more confidence.

Wave Leading Edge Technology

The most striking feature of the Bonanza 3 is its Wave Leading Edge. Inspired by the biomimicry of humpback whale fins, these "tubercles" delay airflow separation at high angles of attack. In practical terms, this means the wing remains incredibly efficient during steep climbs and offers much higher stall resistance. You can "bite" into thermals more aggressively and maintain better control when conditions get tight and punchy.

Accessible 2-Line Efficiency

By moving to a 2-line internal structure, Gin has drastically reduced line drag while providing a direct connection to the wing via the rear risers. This allows for true rear-riser steering, enabling pilots to manage pitch and direction while fully accelerated on the speed bar without deforming the airfoil. Despite its high performance, the aspect ratio has been kept at a manageable 6.3, making it a natural progression for pilots moving up from high-B wings.

Stability & "Bite" in Turbulence

The Bonanza 3 is designed to "sniff out" lift. Instead of being pushed back by turbulence, the wing has a tendency to pull forward into the lifty lines. Its high spanwise tension and 65-cell structure make it exceptionally collapse-resistant, even at full speed. This solidity, combined with 3rd generation Equalized Pressure Technology (EPT), ensures a smooth, stable ride that reduces pilot fatigue during long-duration missions.

Premium Construction

To achieve the perfect balance of durability and performance, Gin used a strategic mix of Myungjin and Porcher fabrics. The leading edge features heavy-duty Myungjin MJ40 MF for longevity, while the lower surface utilizes lightweight Porcher Skytex 27g/m². The internal structure is supported by a strategic mix of plastic and Nitinol rods, ensuring the profile stays "clean" for years of high-performance flying.
