The Advance Tau DLS is strategically positioned in the heart of the Advance lineup, bridging the gap between the legendary Sigma and the high-performance Omega. As a pure EN-C 2-liner, it brings the efficiency of elite racing wings to the sports class. By utilizing Advance’s Durable Lightweight Structure (DLS), the Tau offers a high-density 73-cell construction that remains robust enough for daily use, while providing the performance leap required for ambitious cross-country missions.

True 2-Line Architecture & Active Control

Unlike "hybrid" designs, the Tau DLS features a pure 2-line internal structure. This significantly reduces parasitic drag and allows for direct B-riser steering. In accelerated flight, the pilot can manage pitch and pressure directly through the B-handles, maintaining a rock-solid profile without deforming the canopy. This translates to higher average speeds and a wing that remains "on rails" during long, turbulent transitions.

Durable Lightweight Structure (DLS) & Nitinol

The Tau DLS is the ultimate "daily driver" for pilots who hike to launch but fly for hours. Starting at just 4.0kg, it is optimized for weight without the fragility of traditional ultra-light wings. The leading edge is reinforced with Nitinol rods—shape-memory alloy wires that ensure a perfect profile over years of use and allow for extremely compact folding without the risk of permanent deformation.
